Watercolor as the child of risk and passion

Active watercolor painter for more than 25 years, I have started as a child with drawing and oil painting. In those early years, I was mainly influenced by Simon Hendrickx, teacher at St-Luc in Tournai. 

 

I moved definitely to Watercolor because of a lack of time to prepare and clean material/brushes.

 

I had however to wait 2012 to understand in full the magic of watercolor and how to paint with impact, thanks to a workshop with Alvaro Castagnet. Since then, I explore my way, by bringing own accents to the technique, exploring subjects of my inner world and developing the concept of 'risk management in watercolor'.
